“Great place to stay, an oasis in Dakar. It's a beautiful guesthouse in a quiet street outside the centre. The rooms are nicely decorated, also the common areas are very tasteful and the whole place is very pleasant. There is a nice little terrace and a garden with a clean and refreshing pool. The (French) breakfast is very good, with croissants, bread, fruit, coffee and juice, or eggs if you like. A special thanks goes to the staff - the whole team is very kind and helpful, they helped me to organise taxis, order food and generally find my way around. It's been my 3rd time in the guesthouse and I will definitely return! The WiFi can be a bit wobbly at times.”

“Tranquil and beautiful Guesthouse in the north of Dakar. Beautifully designed and decorated guest house. I enjoyed the breakfast in the garden, a clean room with terrace and a good view and the swimming pool was in perfect condition. The location is good, close to the ocean so the air is always fresh and not too hot. The owner is very attentive and kind. She gave me tips and recommendations. I was happy with everything.”

“Home away from home. I had an extremely beautiful and peaceful stay here. From my window I could see a nearby mosque, and hearing the beautiful chanting of the prayers created a very special atmosphere. The décor of the property deserves a special mention — it is exceptionally beautiful, filled with wonderful African antiques that give the place a unique character and charm. Virginie, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and a real pleasure to talk to. She was also very helpful in guiding me with advice on how to get tickets to my next destination, which I really appreciated. A special thank you as well to the staff, who were very caring and made me feel very comfortable throughout my stay. I slept extremely well here, the breakfast was lovely, and overall there is honestly nothing negative to say. I truly felt at home and would have happily extended my stay if I hadn't already booked another hotel. A wonderful place that I would absolutely recommend.”

“One of the best places we have stayed. Virginie takes care that you are comfortable throughout. Even provides you with a list of good restaurants. Clean and well furnished room. Comfortable beds, very good breakfast, the house is an art museum! Recommend that you ask Virginie to arrange transport from the airport, especially if you arrive late in the evening. Nyeleni is a bit out of the Centre of town. The Heetch app is instrumental to arrange your taxi trips. For us it worked very well.”

“What a beautiful environment. Decorated through the smallest details. The room is very spacious, and water is provided. Virginie was very helpful even before our stay. The water pressure in the room is quite low and makes it hard to have a quick shower or to wash the hair. The breakfast was good, I would personally prefer more savory options. You will need to take a taxi to go around and for some food however if you download the taxi apps (Heetch or Yango) you will be fine.”

“This hotel is amazing! It has a chill vibe, and the design is immaculate. The rooms are spacious, and there are spaces open for all guests to use. Everyone from the owner, Virginie, to the receptionist, Amadou, were incredibly helpful and gave me a lot of advice in terms of getting around, etc. Will definitely be back!”
